OK, we all know that in the last update that monks were nerfed by making elite inspiration weaker. I still don't get why, but I get how, because it was an easy way of boon prots to get energy. Simply apply the enchantment/ use c then e-drain, and youre good to go. Well here is a Mesmer elite energy gain. Similar to power drain in that it interupts, which makes it pretty much impossible for all those boon prots that are running around to abuse this:

Power Feast:

Elite 5 Energy 1/4 Cast 12 Recharge

If target foe is casting a spell, the spell is interrupted and you and all nearby allies gain 5..13 energy and 35...119 health.

The low energy cost and fast recharge would make this a popular spell for mesmers, especially in pve, and the nearby allies would be very thankful im sure. The reason I think it is not overpowering compared to other forms of energy management for Mesmer's is that the energy gain is not intensely high, and the condition can be hard to achieve when you're trying to shut someone down, and then need that energy. Monk's can't use this because like all interupts it will take time and patience ot watch the enemies skillbar, which a healer can't do. Even though no-one plays boon prot anymore....
